This summer I collaborated with 30 creatives from over 12 different countries as part of the 12th International Artcamp hosted in Kosjeric, Serbia. I worked with four other artists as part of the ‘Street Galleries’ group to create a series of murals across the community over an intense two-week period. Our main mural (shown below) was inspired by sequential art and the theme of metamorphosis. This mural can be seen at the entrance of Kosjeric’s local high school, Tehnicka Skola.

On an overnight trip to nearby the village, Varda, our Street Galleries group created this large abstract running figure design in the central space of a run-down community centre. We completely refurbished this hall, stripping and painting the walls, before completing these murals in just 1-day! It was extremely intense and hard physical work but well worth it!

Finally, below you can see our group’s final piece which I co-ordinated and we completed in just two days. Located in the centre of Kosjeric village near the infamous ‘Breza’ bar we created a five-colour landscape design out of simple abstract shapes and fanstastical creatures. This is actually my favourite of our three mural designs, simple but really effective and somehow cheering.
