Californian artist James Turrell’s work emerges from the relationship between light and space. Again there’s a simplicity in the execution of his final works that seem to completely ‘belong’ in the space they occupy. I found his projection work after I got into repeated projections (see Reflections of Projections post) and I admire how his abstract shapes sit perfectly within the architecture to compete the composition.
