Perspective Focus Scan

Attempted to use a large A3 scanner, and despite the outcome being interesting, it definitely wasn’t quite what I expected. This was one of the first photos I combined with paper manipulation. Although it’s quite hard to see here the solid black lines that frame the building are in fact made from card sitting on top of the photo. What’s impossible to see is the fact that it’s actually bright yellow card! I like the grainy quality of the scan but feel that my for the exhibition the colour yellow is of great importance to catch the eye and highlight the detail. I also think that I need to have a number of good quality photographs, not just a few, the pieces are stronger together as can explore and compare the highlighted shapes.
